After a few spots as a guest on Tracey's Kauai Vibrations show, I was encouraged by the folks at KKCR, Kauai Community Radio, to become a DJ. I began training in February of 2024. I began as a weekly fill in guest DJ in July, and now have the 12pm-2pm slot. Welcoming live call in for other Poets!

What is my show about?
While most of the time is playing music, the feature is poetry. Local poets are given the priority, first from Kauai, but also from the other Hawaiian Islands as well. There are poems from throughout history and around the world. I seek out music that is new to me, share information about the music, as well as have the occasional guest and interview.
What is Badamago!?
That's my on-air 'handle.' It is a nickname I got in my early 20's. It is based on the Beastie Boys song Shadrach- that mentions "Shadrach, me shack, Badamago." Either the Beastie Boys were mispronouncing the biblical Abed-Nego, or the kid nicknaming me misheard it.
